We thank you for scheduling an appointment with us. To ensure your MAVEN experience is relaxed and fabulous, we ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment(s) to receive the complete service.
We will do our best to accommodate unexpected delays or emergencies, however it may be necessary to either shorten your appointment, or you may be asked to reschedule. Anyone arriving 10 minutes or more after the scheduled appointment time will be considered a NO SHOW and may be subject to the cancellation policy.
Your appointment is very important to us. We ask that if it’s necessary to cancel or reschedule any appointment that you please provide us with 24-hours notice. This will allow us to adjust our schedules accordingly, and accommodate guests on our waiting list. If last minute cancellations or NO SHOWS become a habit, a cancellation fee will be assessed and on line booking will no longer be available to you. The cancellation fees listed below will need to be honored at the time that you schedule your next appointment.
• Less than a 24-hour notice can result in a charge equal to 25% of reserved service(s) amount.
• NO SHOWS can be charged 50% of the reserved service(s) amount.
As a courtesy, at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time, MAVEN will text and/or email you to confirm the date and time of your appointment. It is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid no shows and cancellation fees.
CHILDREN & PETS
We strive to provide each of you with a relaxing environment and exceptional services. The salon is non-smoking and an environment which is not childproofed. Please do not bring children to your appointment. However, if you must bring your child with you, they must be of a responsible age and able to sit in the waiting on their own, unattended. Children WILL NOT be allowed in the service area or to sit in laps or be held during services. This is for your safety, as well as the safety of our artists and other customers. If your child is unruly and becomes disruptive to another client’s experience you will be asked to remove them from the salon.
Pets are never allowed in the salon. This is a Maryland state law, so please do not ask us to make exceptions.
PAYMENT & GRATUITY
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Cash. Personal checks are not accepted. Cash gratuity is preferred, however it can be added to your card BEFORE the card is run. Please be sure to tell the receptionist before the card is swiped.
It is our hope that you are happy with your purchase. We are happy to offer an exchange of your purchase for store credit with a valid receipt, if returned within 14 days of the purchase date, in it’s unopened, original condition. We encourage you to try the products on while in the shop or take a sample home with you if needed before making a purchase.
